For industrial production, materials can be roughly divided into four intervals: low viscosity (<1000 cP), medium viscosity (1000100,000 cP), high viscosity (100,0001,000,000 cP), and ultra-high viscosity (>1,000,000 cP).
The most advantageous treatment range of Kneading Machine is mainly concentrated in high viscosity to ultra-high viscosity materials, especially suitable for systems that cannot be processed using ordinary mixers or high-speed dispersers.

The actual adaptive viscosity range of Kneading Machine is approximately 50,000 cP to 10,000,000 cP. Some heavy duty dual Z or dual Sigma kneaders with high torque and low speed transmission can handle ultra-high viscosity materials up to 20,000,000 cP. 1. Medium and high viscosity materials (100,000 ~ 500,000 cP)

Commonly found in the following industrial systems:
Preliminary mixing stage of polymer reactor materials
Lithium battery negative/positive electrode slurry (including high proportion of conductive carbon black or nanomaterial)
Special sealant (such as epoxy resin + filler system)
Premix system for high-performance damping materials and solid lubricant
Explosion-proof chemical paste (such as explosive mud)

Not suitable for low viscosity materials
Kneading Machine is not the best choice for low viscosity or aqueous materials below 50,000 cP. Because its structural design is designed for high shear and slow mixing, processing low viscosity fluids is not only inefficient, but may also cause problems such as leakage, splashing and material waste. This type of material is more suitable for mixing using high-speed dispersers, planetary mixers or emulsifiers.
